HydroBalance H-605 Hydrox (5-Gal Plastic Pail)

The HydroBalance H-605 Hydrox is an inhibited phosphoric acid descaler designed to safely and effectively remove scale from cooling towers, pipes, and condensers without requiring system shutdown. This product is much safer and easier to use than other descalers containing hydrochloric or sulfamic acids.

Key Features:

• Non-Fuming: Safe on paint, wood, and commonly used metals. Do not use on galvanized surfaces.
• Highly Concentrated: Requires only 3 gallons per 100 gallons of circulating water.
• Effective Scale Removal: Reduces head pressure in a matter of hours.
• No System Shutdown: Ideal for use in systems that cannot be shut down for descaling.
• Environmentally Safe: Contains no dangerous hydrochloric or sulfuric acids

Usage Instructions:

1. Preparation: Add Hydrox to the sump to reduce head pressure in a matter of a few hours.
2. Circulation: Allow the system to operate normally for 24 to 48 hours with the bleed line turned off, then drain the entire system.
3. Dosage: Add 3 gallons of Hydrox for each 100 gallons of circulating water. Estimate the amount of water in the system by multiplying the sump length × width × depth in feet and multiplying by 10.
4. For Systems That Cannot Be Drained: Increase the bleed-off rate 2 to 3 times the normal rate to dilute unused Hydrox
