RectorSeal 66274 Metacaulk Cover Guard Double Gang Switch (50PK)
Metacaulk Cover Guard is a 1-piece fire-rated gasket for meeting the "24-in rule" in electrical boxes. When exposed to heat, intumescent material expands/forms a char to seal opening, prevent flame spread & limit heat transfer to unexposed areas.
Features- Mounted on inside of cover plate & installed simultaneously- covers the opening & provides necessary fire protection.
- Easy to install- applied by hand, does not take up volume in the electrical box & a labor-saving replacement for putty pads in normal applications
- ASTM E814 (UL 1479)
